" Bean is a very genuine and consistent performer who is generally a good jumper. He will improve from his last race at Newbury, which was his first after a winter break, as he takes more work than you’d expect for a slight horse. Bean loves top of the ground and he is a proper stayer, hopefully today he can continue in the same form he’s been in this season. Looks a tight little race, but holds a decent e/w chance. "

"She has been pleasing us at home and we are looking forward to seeing her maiden outing. But, the one to beat in the betting is the George Boughey-trained runner - Beautiful Sunshine - and on pedigrees alone it looks a competitive affair. William Buick takes the ride."

"We were pleased with his debut run over fences at Warwick last time out. That came in December so back from a small break here, but is well at home and won't mind the better ground. A pound lower that last time and has schooled well at home since. Should have every chance, with the in-form Powerstown Park to beat, but that horse continues to rise up the ratings so that gives us hope."

"Is out of a black type winning mare and a half sister to some useful horses. She goes well at home and certainly has the ability to feature today. We've had 36 bumper runners this season and an impressive 64% of them have been in the top three so she shouldn't be too far away today."

"Put up a good performance to win comfortably at Wincanton on his first start over fences and on better ground. Up 10lbs for that and this is a stronger race, with two others looking well in. However, we are still well-handicapped ourselves and at the right end of the weights - if handling the tighter track. Has come out of his last race well and likely to put up another good performance today."

"Proving a bit frustrating as certainly has the ability to win a race like this over hurdles. That said, has still been running well in similar races this season and looks to have another decent chance of getting off the mark over hurdles. Track experience last time will help and in a race that seems to rest between us and three other horses. Is starting to look a bit exposed now, but should still not be far away. The Skelton and Teal horses look the obvious ones though."

"Small quite neat filly who has hinted at ability and probably capable in this sort of race. Will stay further in time and not without a chance if handling the conditions."

"Ran okay at Musselburgh last time - better than positions suggested as was a bit unlucky in the race being short of room. Back on the AW here and dropped a pound helps, plus the useful Laura Pearson booked to ride to claim 5lbs. Remains in good shape and being there is pace in the race that will suit his hold-up style."

"Returned to form last time at Hereford with a fair second. Had a light racing weight that day and does do again here (10-2), while the drop back in trip will be a plus after just running out of petrol over 2 furlongs longer last time. Only second run for us after coming from the Christian Williams yard. If building slightly on that last race will go well."

"Back from a break after losing his way a bit and having a few problems - hence the time out. Nice to get back going with him and at least he gets back on a fair mark - especially with Charlie's 5lb claim too. Will love the ground and gone well off a break in the past so small e/w chance, but not matter what will improve for the run."
